Honorary Doctorates

Prof. dr. Fred van Eenennaam was responsible for two honorary doctorates while he leaded the Nyenrode Strategy Center.

Morris Tabaksblat – in memoriam

Prof van Eenennaam promoted the honorary doctorate of Morris Tabaksblat, former CEO of Unilever and famous director. Tabaksblat was responsible for the development of a code of conduct for governance in Dutch companies; the “Code Tabaksblat”. Tabaksblat passed away on October 20th, 2011.

Professor Michael E. Porter

Professor Michael E. Porter or Harvard Business School, worldfamous economist and strategist with his Harvard Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, was promoted by an honorary doctorate at Nyenrode Business Universiteut as well. Prof. Fred van Eenennaam of The Decision Institute, former director or the Nyenrode Strategy Center and co-founder of the Nyenrode Life Sciences & Health Institute, was promotor of prof. Porter’s Honorary Doctorate.
