Best practices by Intermountain: Process management for value creation in Healthcare

Yet another successful Clinical Management Workshop was held on Friday June 15th. In this case-teaching workshop the Harvard Business Case Intermountain Healthcare was taught to nearly 20 participants, varying from medical specialists, to healthcare industry representatives and quality managers of care providers in The Netherlands. Subject of the workshops was ‘Managing innovative healthcare’.

The gained insight on hospital management and strategy were actively discussed and illustrated the key learning that standardization is both a prerequisite for high quality care delivery, and a useful tool to continuously improve care delivery. While continuing discussions, the session was closed with drinks an bites at the bar in the castle Salentein in Nijkerk.

    Next Clinical Management Workshop is held on Tuesday, September 11th,  on Harvard Business Case Virginia Mason Medical Center.
