Dutch Flower Cluster Case taught for Food&Finance MBAs

Thirty inquisitive Food & Finance MBA students of the Nyenrode Business Univeristy, participated in an excellent case discussion of The Dutch Flower Cluster Case. The class of Richard Janssen, which followed the Strategy Module, had a broad background, from Rabobank and Vion to the Belastingdienst and Equence. Michiel Vaandrager, Commercial Manager Flowers and Clock started the session with a lecture on the history and latest developments of Floraholland. Thereafter, ir. Niels van Gorp of The Decision Institute led the case discussion of the renowned Dutch Flower Cluster Case.

The Decision Instute and Case Teaching

Case Method Teaching, as introduced by Harvard Business School is an intensive and interactive, engaging  form of education and is often applied at Business Schools.  The Decision Institute has extensive expertise in case teaching. We teach Harvard Business Cases on a regular basis on various events, executive programs, masterclasses and university courses such as the for MBA Food & Finance students. The Decision Institute also develops these cases, an example is The Dutch Flower Cluster Case.
