A successful Tour of the Dutch Healthcare System was organized by The Decision Institute and partner AUPHA. An enthusiastic group of 20 academics visited The Netherlands and learned from the best practices of hospitals, insurers, branch organizations and the industry. The group visited, among others, VU Unversity Medical Center, the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) and biotech company Prosensa.
Health Education
All participants had a background in health and were involved in health administration education in the USA. Health administration and Clinical Management are the areas which are underexposed in Dutch education programs. The Decision Institute is providing various programs and health executive MBA’s to fulfill this need.
