Seminar information

The business world has changed. To thrive, executives now know their boards must adapt to make the most of individual contributions, while operating as an ‘entity’ to get things done. We are pleased to announce this unique executive seminar for current and future board members.

The event is invitation-only and based on the world-renowned and successful Harvard Business School program: “Making Corporate Boards More Effective”, under the auspices of Prof. J. Lorsch PhD and Prof. K. Palepu of Harvard University, as well as the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), whose Current Board Environment and the Role of the Board program(R) is designed to drive impact and value in the boardroom.

The seminar will cover a wide-ranging variety of topics that address virtually all important aspects of board governance. These topics include (but are certainly not limited to):

• Board design, roles, responsibilities, development, policies, practices, dynamics, efficiency and evaluation,

• Crisis and risk management, stakeholders and government involvement,

• Oversight and director liability,

• New realities in corporate governance, legalities and ethics, and

• Remuneration and compensation.
