Masterclass Outcome Measures

Value creation starts with insights in performance

During the Masterclass Outcome Measures a group of 5-20 participants is introduced in the key aspects of Value-Based Healthcare, the concept that centers care delivery around patient values.

Establishing Outcome Measurement is an essential step in creating patient value. This helps not only to gain insights in the performance of the care delivered. It also facilitates decision making and dialogue in day to day management and strategy orientation.

The participants got a quick overview of developments in measurement in healthcare, after which a practical workshop with 5 steps towards establishing a comprehensive set of Outcome Measures was followed.

Replies from the audience

Some of the enthusiastic replies on the Masterclass:
“The masterclass gave a good and clear overview on outcome measures in a relatively short amount of time”
“Plenary discussions and the diversity of the audience were the best parts of the session”
“It was great that the session was so interactive and I liked the part on filling the Care Delivery Value Chain”
“Finally I have discovered how to deliver care from a patient’s perspective. Now I know that up to now we have been thinking from the physicians’ perspective”.
“Refreshing practical concept. First thing I’ll do tomorrow is to develop  outcome measures for a medical condition in my field of expertise”.
